Course struc­ture

The programme mainly focuses on the role of the artist in the civic sphere and the integrity of their research and practice with society. A course to learn how to develop collaborative projects responding to real problems and needs, involving people and communities through artistic practice and research.

First year’s didactic programme

The first course year is characterised by an initial theoretical-critical three-month period in which the student gains awareness of the importance of the artistic processes; the following six-month period introduces them to artistic techniques.

Third year’s didactic programme

The objective of the third year is to complete the course by providing artistic-critical skills. The second part of the year is dedicated to traineeships, students’ autonomous educational activities, writing the dissertation.

Internships and educational activities carried out outside the classroom are key elements of a development focusing on experience and customised programmes. They are practices allowing students to test their knowledge and skills, and experiment with their commitment to transforming society, social engagement, planning, sharing.
