The Advanced Program in Contemporary Public Art is a one-year program for young artists who wish to advance their artistic research and explore how art can act as a tool for social transformation. Through an intensive, project-based approach, the course offers a space to refine one’s artistic language, expand creative capacity, and explore how art can engage with the social and political dimensions of the present.
The program combines practice and theory, encouraging cross-disciplinary contamination to shape each participant’s artistic approach.
The Advanced Program has two annual intakes (October and March). It is structured in two semesters, and combines core courses with elective workshops and modules that differ every year. Each semester includes three intensive practice based projects: alongside the core courses, a range of elective modules allows artists to define their own direction and focus on specific methodologies or contexts.
