ACCADEMIA UNIDEE: ECCO I VINCITORI DELLE BORSE DI STUDIO PER L’EGITTO

L’Accademia di Belle Arti fondata da Michelangelo Pistoletto è pronta ad accogliere due studenti egiziani nei corsi di Arte Contemporanea e Moda Sostenibile

Biella, xx ottobre 2025 – Sono Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Shoeb e Rawan Emad Omar Elfarouk Mohamed Soliman i due giovani egiziani vincitori delle due borse di studio, rispettivamente in Arte Contemporanea e Moda Sostenibile, messe in palio dall’Accademia Unidee di Biella, in collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura del Cairo.

I vincitori sono stati scelti selezionando, tra le numerose candidature, le due di maggior talento e che hanno dimostrato di condividere i valori che fanno parte del percorso artistico di Michelangelo Pistoletto e di Cittadellarte, quali il ruolo dell’arte nella trasformazione della società nella duplice chiave di libertà e responsabilità e l’importanza di affermare la sostenibilità come un elemento essenziale della moda.

L’iniziativa con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura del Cairo mira a rafforzare i legami culturali tra l’Italia e l’Egitto e a promuovere l’accesso a un’istruzione artistica di alta qualità per studenti internazionali che condividano i valori di creatività, etica e sostenibilità che definiscono la missione educativa di Accademia Unidee.

“Dall’Italia del Rinascimento è venuta la prospettiva. Si è fatta tanta strada seguendo quella direttrice. Progressi straordinari ed errori storici, creazione ma anche distruzione, i migliori e i peggiori tratti della natura umana. Ora siamo giunti a un punto in cui serve a noi tutti una nuova prospettiva, fatta di circolarità e armonia con gli altri umani e con la natura. É questa un’arte che affonda le radici nella storia, ma si proietta in un futuro di impegno per una grande opera collettiva. Attraverso il Mediterraneo, le culture si incontrano e nell’Accademia di Cittadellarte, a Biella, si uniscono all’Europa e al resto del mondo nella ricerca di modelli di creazione rigenerazione sostenibili e giusti. In Egitto troviamo i segni di una cultura straordinaria che ha congiunto terra e cielo, vita terrena e spiritualità. Le civiltà sono state fondate sul pensiero, sulla ricerca, sullo slancio immaginativo, sull’invenzione tecnica, sulla ricerca di una vita migliore ma sempre anche sull’impegno pratico. Questo troveranno gli allievi che vengono a studiare alla nostra accademia, dall’Egitto al Brasile, dall’Iran alla Palestina, dalla Cina al resto del mondo”, commenta Paolo Naldini Direttore Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte.

 

Le due borse di studio vanno a coprire il costo dell’intera retta universitaria e le spese di alloggio per tre anni accademici, a partire dall’inizio delle lezioni il 15 ottobre.

ACCADEMIA UNIDEE: HERE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR EGYPT

The Academy of Fine Arts founded by Michelangelo Pistoletto is ready to welcome two Egyptian students to its courses in Contemporary Art and Sustainable Fashion

Biella, 10 October 2025 – Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Shoeb and Rawan Emad Omar Elfarouk Mohamed Soliman are the two young Egyptians who have won the two scholarships, in Contemporary Art and Sustainable Fashion respectively, offered by the Unidee Academy in Biella, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo.

The winners were chosen from among numerous applicants as the two most talented who demonstrated that they share the values that are part of the artistic journey of Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte, such as the role of art in transforming society in terms of both freedom and responsibility, and the importance of affirming sustainability as an essential element of fashion.

The initiative with the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo aims to strengthen cultural ties between Italy and Egypt and to promote access to high-quality art education for international students who share the values of creativity, ethics and sustainability that define the educational mission of Accademia Unidee.

“Perspective originated in Renaissance Italy. Much progress has been made following that direction. Extraordinary advances and historical errors, creation but also destruction, the best and worst traits of human nature. We have now reached a point where we all need a new perspective, one of circularity and harmony with other humans and with nature. This is an art that has its roots in history but looks to a future of commitment to a great collective work. Across the Mediterranean, cultures meet and, at the Cittadellarte Academy in Biella, they join Europe and the rest of the world in the search for sustainable and fair models of creation and regeneration. In Egypt, we find the signs of an extraordinary culture that has united earth and sky, earthly life and spirituality. Civilisations have been founded on thought, research, imaginative impetus, technical invention, the search for a better life, but always also on practical commitment. This is what students who come to study at our academy will find, from Egypt to Brazil, from Iran to Palestine, from China to the rest of the world,” comments Paolo Naldini, Director of the Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte.

 

The two scholarships cover the cost of the entire university tuition and accommodation expenses for three academic years, starting from the beginning of classes on 15 October.
